Replace Raid 5 array with larger drives

by ajhudnall . Updated 18 years, 3 months ago

I am starting to get errors on my drives and they are getting a bit full. I want to replace the drives before something happens. The server is Windows 2003 server standard and it is our domain controller, terminal server, application server, dns server, dhcp server, file server, print server, and everything else. Currently we have three Seagate Cheetah Ultra320 SCSIs in a raid 5 configuration using a LSI Megaraid controller. I have new larger drives to replace them. I am wondering what is the best way to accomplish this. I do not have any backup software other than the NTBackup software that is on the server. I would be willing to purchase better backup software if needed.
