Replaced Dell Inspiron 5150 motherboard will only boot to BIOS and stop

Hi,
I have dell Inspiron 5150 laptop I bought about 3-4 years ago, last year I used the wrong adaptor with it and it stopped working. After that if you pressed the power button the front lights would only blink for second and it wouldn’t do anything else so I preseumed I damaged the motherboard considering the history of the Inspiron 5150.

Recently I decide to fix it as it was a very good machine and I had never had any other problems with it. So I bought a motherboard off eBay and replaced the motherboard the instructions in the service manual. But I did not notice till I had it replaced that the last instruction was to insert the CD that comes with the new motherboard to accept the new BIOS. But unfortunately the CD didn’t come with the mother board and the seller of the board doesn’t have one. Now the machine boots just begins to load the BIOS and then stops.

Has any suggestions on where I should go now or what to Do?

I was gonna ring dell about but Im not sure if they will talk with me after they found out that I’ve changed the board myself.
