the new board is for the inspiron 4000 and latitiude c600. it boots as a c600. how do i correct this? the other issue is that it will boot from battery, but with power cord it cuts off after 2 or 3 seconds. it also just decides to cut out at different points while running. actually i am not sure if there is an issue whether it is a 4000, or c600 as long as it runs the same. it reads the cpu ok so i don’t know if it matters.
