replaced motherboard computer starts but no display on screen.

I just replaced the motherboard for a toshiba a105-2071 with the exact motherboard that came out of it. when I turn it on it powers up fan and all but nothing appears on the display screen.

Have you reconnected all of the Leads?

I assume you are talking about a laptop motherboard? If so, there is a ribbon that connects to the CFL tube controler (not sure of the exact nomen here),that provides the backlight power. look behind the LCD screen and make sure it is plugged all the way into it, if it is reseat it. That may solve your problem.
