I have a client system running Win98 that was purchased w/Office 2000. Our company-wide standard is Office 97. I tried to remove the Office 2K and install Office 97 but the Access 97 program won’t work. It seems to think it is still Access 2000. Other 97 programs work OK. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the entire suite of programs several times but Access will not work. I have tried installing all patches I can find for both the OS and the applications. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
