The DNS server which handles our Exchange 5.5 email delivery is temporarily out of service. It is located in another city. Is there a method to reroute my email using an IP address instead of a domain name? I.E, if my email address was bb@sub.domain.com (and the DNS server handling sub.domain.com is out of service) and my email server’s ip address in my office is 10.1.1.1, is there a way to reroute emails using 10.1.1.1 instead of sub.domain.com?
