Reseting Group/User/System Policies

Just ran into a problem where one of my now former IT partners changed a wide variety of policies on a win2k laptop. Is there a way to possibly reset all of these policies? Also, ALL accounts that are active have been denied for local interactive logins, even admin. What can be done to allow all users to once again login interactively?
