I’m relatively new to Linux but I’m fairly comfortable when it comes to changing settings.
My problem is I’m trying to run Linux in a virtual environment Sun’s vBox in particular after a standard install I’m left with an 800×600 size screen I’m running the host(XP pro) on a wide screen laptop with a res of 1280×800.
the options presented to me in sax11 do not offer the 1280×800 res is there any way to fix this I’d like very much to learn Linux but i just can’t get beyond the “black bars” on the side.
