The common, “Unable to save print settings” error message in MS Outlook is posing a difficult time for me. Microsoft’s solution for overcoming this page setup configuration problem is to rename, replace or even move the Outlprnt to another directory does not work.
Outlook presents the, “Error obtaining print settings …” message, deletes the newly created Outlprnt file, and continues to refuse to let the user change the page setup.
I’ve tried this solution unsuccessfully repeatedly for Outlook 98 and 2000.
Microsoft offers no alternative solution. Has anyone else run into this and if so, is there a workaround?
