I have 3 computers networked with a hub. The computers are
1. Win2000 prof.
2. Win98
3. ME

All computers are using tcp/ip with setting Obtain IP address automatically
All computers are running Client for M.S. networks
All computers belong tothe same workgroup
When I ipconfig the computers I get the following
Win2000 169.254.147.232 sub mask: 255.255.0.0
Win98 169.254.158.220 sub mask 255.255.0.0
ME 169.254.12.229 sub mask 255.255.0.0

All computers can ping see each other and seeeach other through explorer
I can access back and forth between the Win2000 and Win98 computers just fine.
I can access the ME computer from the Win2000 just fine
I can access the Win98 computer from the ME computer just fine
Problem: when I tryto access the Win2000 computer from ME I get the following message:
"Enter network password

the $ sign means a protected [shared for administrative purposes only] resource. Access is for the administrators group [which can access these shares from anywhere on the network].
