Resource Scheduling

By a.gandy ·
Hello

I am trying to create a resource scheduling calendar for the resources in our organization using Outlook. I have set up each resource with its own calendar. I want to know if there is a way to make changes in a "parent" folder apply down through the "child" folders. For example: If I were to book an event that occupied the entire 1st floor of the Faith Bldg I want to go to the calendar for "1st Floor Faith" and book an appointment. Currently when I do this it only applies to the 1st Floor Faith and is not applied down through the subfolders of F101, F103, F105, and so on. Is there any way to make this happen?

Thanks

There isn't anything built into Outlook to do this, though you could conceivably handle it with an Exchange script. Remember, though, that the subfolders won't operate as resource calendars -- they won't show their free-busy time to users who want to book them.
