Restarted during boot...now won't start?

By ngen255 ·
Hello. Recently, while my computer was booting up, it was restarted. Unfortunately, it didn't boot up. Now, my computer refuses to boot up. No post, nothing. Nothing happens on my monitor. All my drives and lights turn on, and my fans turn on, but my motherboard does nothing. This is the second time it happened. I still do not know the source of the problem, nor the answer. The first time it happened was on a GA-7vt600, and now it happened on my FIC AZ-11. Now I have no working motherboards. What is the problem?

Did you check the CPU to make sure that it was working properly and not overheating

Then you should check the power supply to make sure that it is adequate enough to power the system, with two different motherboards, then you should be able to narrow it down to something that you are adding tho the system, also make sure you donot let the motherboard touch the case when mounted.

...well...now my FIC AZ-11 motherboard works...apparently it was a matter of pressing the power button over and over again...argh...computers. My GA-7VT600 still doesn't work, however...

I've had problems with RAM that would produce those results. Try different RAM if you can get your hands on it. I've also heard that signed/unsigned DDR can make a difference on some boards.
