Rejoining the IT world after not working due to family circumstances. Former IT Director for company running a Windows 2003 environment with Exchange/SQL Server, etc. and 100 clients. Currently Updating my skills by working on Windows Server 2016 MCSA certification online. Should finish in about 3 months and then onto MCSE. I have BSEE and MBA degrees and strong engineering background, so am catching up. Any recommendations on how to get past the gap question? I was caring for a parent and am not afraid to hide the truth. I am confident I can manage all aspects of an IT department, but realize there will be a learning curve.
