I have two server, my question is if I wants to restore exchange server old exchange server to the new exchange server what are my options and what steps be taken to achieve.

Regretably due to the incredible instability of the Exchange 5.5 d’bases. I’ve had to do this often. If you type what you used as a title for your post on technet you will find a whole host of articles. It looks pretty daunting, but after you’ve done it a few times it’s easy. Actually if your first server is still up, and you can’t just move the mailboxes over to the new one. I’d use exmerge and export all of the mailboxes and public folders.

you can extract the mailboxes using the exmerge utility and export them to another server

you will in all probablity have to reinstall exchange
