Restore Folder

By galehickey2 ·
I have two pcs-one with XP on it and the other ME. I came up with a trojan LOCATED in my restore folder in XP.
Must be protected from getting deleted. I was told to go into safemode, turn system restore off and then run Trojan Remover or simply delete bad file if TR does not work. Where are these sure 'nuff hidden folders hidden at? Thanks.

there is a hidden folder at root level of your drive called System File Information. i believe the restore files are in there. to see hidden files, open my computer. in the window menu, pick Tools then folder options. i think you can get at folder options in control panel also.
anyhow, go to View and pick show hidden and system files. then browse for your restore folder.
