    Restore from Arcserv 6.61 on win2000

    Hi,
    My Arcserv 6.61 installed on win2000 pro.
    When i try to restore by session it’s
    allows only to collapse until the drive’s
    and not let me see the folders or files
    so there is no option to restore particular
    file or folder.i have the same installation
    on NT 4 and there is no problem on that machine also i tried to merge the cassette and scan it and it did not help

      After Merging and/or scanning (can’t remember which adds the database info) try to change the version history. It only allows you to collapse or expand directories to the extent that it knows of for that version.
      The button is up top in therestore window, it may be “file date” I can’t remember off the top of my head.

      I think it has to do with rights and group policies.
      check “local security policy” > ” local policies” > “user right assignments” and verify that he’s a member of 1. Act as part of the OS 2. Log on as a service 3. Log on locally.
      The account that you are using should be a member of the LOCAL administrator account.
