Restore Lilo

Sir, my pc runs with Redhat Linux 7.2/Windows XP.While I am reinstalling the XP causes MBR is rewrited with XP. I want to restore the Lilo boot loader.Please help me. One of my friend suggest that “go to prompt and type LILO and Enter, the may problem solves.” Is it correct.Please help me.
