    restore local disk icon in my computer

    One of my user deleted the Local Disk or drive C: icon in my computer. How can I restore it back?

      Hmmm, I did not know you can delete it. may be it is hiding. is this computer a part of network? if so, then it may hide by group policy. If is not a part of domain then check following registry:

      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

      looking for this line either set it to O or delete it

      NoDrives REG_DWORD
