Hi Can anyone help me I need to restore a Win2000 server which was installed on a SATA raid machine, onto a SCSI raid machine. So far I'm unable to get it to switch to the SCSI driver. If i run recovery consol it can see the C Drive but if I try to do a repair, it cannot.

Hi thanks for answering - tried fixmbr and fixboot in recovery console, it boots nearly into windows but gives the inaccessible boot device blue screen. Tried running a repair and giving it the drivers for the raid controller which it takes but next reboot gives the same inaccessible boot device. Can't seem to get it to realise it's not got the SATA controller any more.
I assume the Scsi driver has been installed or made available on the old server. Then you need to modify boot.ini on new server and change multi(x) entries to SCSI(x) to work on SCSI disks.
