Restoring iOS 14.4.2 version on iPad after upgrade to 14.5

Can anyone recommend a reputable link for restoring to previous iOS version 14.4.2. I use DocScan HD, which was recommended by CNet, to scan files. I have some important files within the app, but I cannot export or see them after upgrading to iOS 14.5. The DocScan HD App needs to be updated to work under iOS 14.5, but the developer is no longer updating this App. Therefore I think that I need to restore my iPad to the previous iOS version to extract these files. This is also the advice of the developer of DocScan HD with whom I exchanged emails. Any tip here?

It’s not easy and WILL WIPE the machine clean from what I read.

Good thing your files are on backups.
