I had some serious pc problems last week and am now trying to track down my .pst file. I have windows 2000 sp2. Over the weekend I had to reinstall the os. So to save files what I did was install win2k on another drive (using it as c) then copiedwinnt and documents & Settings to that drive under a directory. Next I reset the original drive as C and reinstalled the os. Everything works great but I can’t find the .pst. I thought it was under documents& Settings\local settings\applicationdata\microsoft\outlook. However all I can find in here (in the files I copied over) are .dat files. Can anyone help? Is there anyway to retrieve the .pst or .pab files? We’re desperate at least for the contacts
