The HP mahine running Home has a virus that prevents going into registry and bios. I can’t run executables, etc. In trying to restore from HP restore drive, it is looking for the OEM file (with code). I do not have the restore disc. I found the file on the original C: drive and it seems to take it until the final “Thank You” screen where it locks up and shows only hour glass. Is there something missing or is it remnant of virus?
