Restrict access to Terminal server

By sau_wo_pui ·
Dose anyone know how to set restriction on terminal server(Remote Administration Mode) so that only allow certain user or host to logon over the network using Terminal server client. (I want to disable administrator account to be able to logon remotely also)

Thanks in advance

In Remote Administration mode the local administrators group can login via TS. So if you rename the administrator account to something only you know, and then add in to the administrators group just the users you want to allow in via TS, you'll be all set.

Thanks

To restrict which users can logon to a termiona server, go the Terminal Services Profile tab and select whether they can logon or not. Renaming Administrator is standard and ensure that you remove the tick from the check box.
