Restricting access to outlook calendar

By rdering ·
Does anyone know how to block others from seeing your meetings etc in the calendar part of Outlook 2000? I have seen it when you click on someones name to invite them to a meeting, it returns a 'no info available' message.

thanks

In Outlook click Tools> Options > On the Preferences Tab click Calendar Options > Click Free/Busy Options

Set Publish ___ month(s) to 0(zero)

Click ok on all the screens to finish.

Keep in mind that it may take a few minutes for the updateto occur on the server. Wait about 15 minutes and go to another user's pc it should have a white bar with slanted lines for the Attendee Availability.

Keep in mind that anyone with Delegate rights to the person's Calendar will see it. This change only effects a general user inviting the person to a meeting and looking in Attendee Availability.

Let me know how it goes.
