How do you keep the state of a resultset.

Meaning,retrieve the records within a resultset & then display them afterwards(outside of the result.next() loop

It all depends on you application. Some examples include, but are not limited to:

- display in a grid control
- store in an array
- populate a class collection
- write to a file
- write back to a data base

If you need more help, I'd need to have a better understanding of what you are trying to accomplish.

regards

U can use Vector class for storing the database
values.like this

Vector store=new Vector();

while(rs.next())
{
store.addElement(rs.get...());
}

latter u can have the records viewed even after the next element
