I have a prospective client who is concerned that his users will not have the same restricted use of the Internet when they are connected to a W2003 server via Remote Desktop Connection and/or Terminal Services. The workstations run on XP Pro and were purchased with software that only allows ‘white listed’ web access. Will users be able to bypass their local settings for Internet access while connected to the server or will their local settings still work?
