I have a problem that shows up on three computers that I know of. I have an Excel spreadsheet which gets external data from an Access database. It gets the data from one of the querries. Part of the querry uses a *wildcard in the criteria. This querry works fine in Access but returns nothing into the spreadsheet. It does work on other peoples machines. I’m using Windows 98, Access 97, and Excel 97 on all three machines. Two others that run the same spreadsheet are running Office 2000, Access 97 and one has Windows ME the other Windows 2000. They have no problem. I upgraded one computer to Office 2000, that didn’t help. I then upgraded the same machine to Windows ME, that didn’t help either. If I get rid of the wild card in the criteria and put in a fixed value, everything works fine. Any suggestions????
