Default action to open a folder has changed.

by 1bn0 In reply to Right Click Folder Option ...

Open an Explore or My Computer window.

On the menu Tools | Folder Options

Click on the File Types tab

Select Folder from the list. (not File Folder, not sure what the difference is)

Click on the Advanced button near the bottom.

Select the desired action from the list of options and click on Set Default.

Open is usually default. I always change it to Explore. This causes windows to open all folders in an explorer window with the folder list visible.

Click OK

Click OK

Done.

Don't forget to mark the anser "Helpfull"
