rights in the default hidden share C$,D$

by madeeh . Updated 21 years, 10 months ago

ok we have in our company a win 2000 domain with more then 1000 PC connected to the network and we need to prevent the hidden shares accessing even for the local admin group in every PC because all the support Eng. is already added in the local admin group and we need to have access for a special group in our domain to this hidden shares
kindly not that I already escalated this question to Microsoft and they could not find a solution for this it may need a third party software to be installed I am not sure
Also note that I have Microsoft SMS 2003 in the network which needs to have the hidden shares available so we can not disable the hidden shares function
For any farther information kindly email me
Thanks in advance for your help
