I recently completed and RIS installation and setup the computer with other software with the idea of copying the image back to the server and storing it there when we needed to restore machines.
I started the Riprep Wizard and when prompted to give the server name, I did so. When I pressed 'next' the alert window opened and told me that I needed a CD-based image on the server. This is the same server that I just completed the remote install from.
What do I need to do to get past thisalert window?
Thanks for your help,
John

You seem to have missed the step in the RIS Setup Wizard that creates and install a CD-Based Source Image.
Create a directory and share it on the RIS Server to store CD-Based Images you create.
ReRun "risetup" and during the setup create the CD Based Image when prompted point the image desitation to that share. The wizard should be walking you through that.
