RIS

by dwdino . Updated 23 years, 3 months ago

I have an RIS server established. This was done for the imaging of new pcs when they arrived. Works wonderfully.

The other day, I setup Linux on one of the new pcs and tested some things. When done, I hooked it up to the network, launched RIS and walked away.

When I returned, and error was displayed “Not enough space on HD” (summarized). I verified the hard drive and it is plenty large enough.

I have tracked the issue to be the failure of RIS to repartition the system. I have the repartion=yes string in both the unattended and remoteinstall sections of the sif file. I have the AutoPartition=1 set in the Data section. Yet it is still failing to repartition.

Help!!!!????
