RIS: ADDING YOUR OWN NETWORK DRIVERS

Dear Colleagues,
I have setup a RIS server and saved a CD image as well as another image with insalled programs +++ to it. The Dell Pcs came with a n Intel pro NIC, and the RIS server would not boot to these. I read that it is posible to modify the RIS images so they boot from any network card. can someone explain to me in simple steps how to do this. Please do not refer me to MS Knowledgebase articles because i am sitting here trying to get my head around the articles, that’s why i need someone who has probably tested it in his/her environment to tell me in simple terms how that is done.
