RIS & Advanced Server with SP2

Has anyone tried using the riprep.exe tool on an a cd based pre-configured image that is running IIS and .net? The error I receive is: Remote installation preparation wizard is incompatabile with SMTP and www publishing service. Is there a way around this with out having to uninstall IIS to get the new image up onto the Ris Server?
