RIS: Super slow motion loading

I have two RIS servers (test and live).

I have separate images for several different hardware platforms which use Intel PRO/100 cards (Compaq Armada M700, Compaq Deskpro 815e, Compaq iPAQ 815e, Compaq Evo D500 815e). Images are copied from Test to Live.

The newest Evo system takes over an hour to complete initial “copy files” setup, but only on the Live server. On the Test server (and all other platforms on both servers) it takes ten minutes.

If I have multiple versions of the same driver on my RIS server, how does BINL determine which to use during initial setup? If it were truly the one in the image chosen by the client, why would I see such a dramatic slowdown, and how can I fix it?
