Roaming Profiles and Dfs

I was wondering if anyone else has been crazy enough to make fault tolerant roaming profiles for their users by using a domain dfs in Windows 2000. I've tried it out in the test environment and it seems to work but its hard to tell what will happen with hundreds of users. Any feedback?

You say you implement the DFS full tolerant I suppose. That means replication between DFS servers. If using roaming profiles, each time u have replication in your DFS structure -> replication of the roaming profiles. If some users have a profile like mine (2GB) then what do you think about replication on the network environment? You can use this solution if you also redirect the contents of the outlook express or any other e-mail program included in the profile, to be stored on each local computer. Otherwise you'll have a lot of problems especially if u talk about hundred users.
If I were you I would not chose such a solution.

I have the roaming profiles limited to under 5 MB in size and email is stored centrally on the server...so it may be possible.
