My company internal DNS server that is closely integrated with the Active
Directory (win2K platform) will not allow forwarding as it is a root server.
I tried to setup another DNS server on our network but it became a root
server as well?
I needto setup forwarders as our internal DNS cannot resolve anything that
is outside our network, and having an outside DNS server from our ISP is not
ideal solution as it slows down local logons, resolutions etc. + it would
require manual DNS settingchange on each station (we have a static IP).
How can I setup another local DNS server that will not be a root server or
change the existing one so that it allows forwarding?
Thank you very much!
