Assume this senario :
1- satellite link with this features :
A DVB reciciver(Broadlogic)
A Hughes Satellite modem
A TRES Multipelexer
A Cisco 2610 Router
have 1Mbps receiving data on DVB
have 256Kbps sendig data through router
I have some access list on my router for some specefic
IP address that
they are in router IP range.
(DVB has a different IP from a different class)
and I have limitted bandwidth for each IP receiving.
But it didn’t work !
why ?
where is the problem ?
I think the DVB do some disturbation on my network.
Note that my send and receive is separated and the IP
for sending and the IP for receiving is different.
It’ll be funny for you if I say that this bandwidth
management and trafic shapping was working til
yesterday !
Is it possible that my receiver be intelligent and
routes my traffic ?
I would be very pleased if you guide me and tell me
what’s happen
here ?
