Routers on a Small Business Network

I have a very small business that is now setup as a workgroup using a Linksys router for internet connection and data access between computers. There are only 3 PC’s in the workgroup. I have been charged with installing a server for the network. Are there any special considerations that I should take into account if I continue to use the Linksys router in the configuration of this network?
