Routing between class A and C Network

    Locked

    by guy ·

How can I configure a smooth roouting between my Class A (255.0.0.0) network and a Class C (255.255.255.248) defined internet router? Is this possible via my MS2000 Server or via a second router?

Connect one nic of your server to the internet router and the other to the rest of the network. Install and configure Routing and Remote access services (RRAS). In normal cases it is already installed on a ms2000 server box. Here you can define which is the external interface and which is the internal one. You can then use NAT so the rest of your network can get on the internet.
