I have a remote user using Outlook 2003 configured with RPC over HTTP. It seems to be working well, it connects and is responsive. The problem we’re having is that when he tries to configure Rules and Alerts, to redirect messages from his inbox to his personal folder, or when trying to use Out of Office Assistant, he gets an error stating that this can’t be performed while offline. I?m thinking that this happens because we?re using a proxy server. Is this a RPC issue, an Outlook issue or a configuration problem? Is there a work around that anybody can suggest?
