RPC over HTTP on Blackberry cannot send email

By mkokinda ·
I recently moved our SBS 2003 from one location to another. The first location the server had a public IP address and RPC over HTTP worked fine for outlook clients as well as blackberry clients (no BES). The server now has no external address, and port forwarding from the router has 110, 25, 443, 80 forwarded from the router to one of internal lan cards on the server (there are three). Outlook clients still work fine, but, I get a 'message included an invalid address' error when sending email from the blackberry. I have moved the server into the dmz temporarily so I am thinking it is a DNS issue? On the DNS issue, I have changed the primary DNS on the router (which currently runs the DHCP service) so that workstations can authenticate to the SBS. Name resolution seems fine (the secondary and tertiary DNS servers are at the ISP). Unless a mobile phone uses an additional tcp port I did not open up, I am not sure what the difference is between a PC with Outlook vs a BB talking to exchange in this manner. Thanks for any pointers!
