RRAS missing modem

By HowieD ·
Hi,

I have a W2K server running RRAS.

The machine has a Windows standard 33600 modem installed on COM2 which is used to communicate with a satellite terminal.

The modem on COM2 show's up and works fine as a DUN connection, but when I try to add it in RRAS it isn't shown in the list of available dial up connections.

I've tried reinstalling the modem, reinstalling RRAS but it never shows up.

I also have the same config on COM1 talking to a GPRS cellphone connection and that both shows up and works under RRAS.

Any ideas?

MORE INFORMATION
Before you decide to install RRAS, consider the following items: ? RRAS is not TAPI aware. To avoid interference with the functionality of other applications that use TAPI (such as the Fax service and the Modem Sharing service), any modems and devices configured for RRAS cannot be available for other services and vice versa.

The modems (both of them) are purely used for RRAS so sadly this isn't the problem.
