RRAS server

I have server 2003 which was RRAS services installed. Is it going to affect my LAN connection if i disable my RRAS? Thanks.

Probably not, unless it (the server) is being used as:

(a) a router between subnets;
(b) a proxy server or Internet connection sharing server;or
(c) unless some remote users are connecting to this server remotely over a VPN-type of connection.

The reverse however is true.
I started the RRAS service and the server kicked off all my LAN
My goal is to allow myself to login to the server from offsite.
