Since RSS FEEDS are for the purpose of disbursing information, Is it safe to assume that I can freely use RSS FEEDS of others, and display them on my web site without getting into legal trouble? (giving credit to where I've got it from of course.... )

In my opinion, as soon as an RSS is available, this gives the audience an opportunity to display that feed in any way they please, or just read it in their (Plug) Firefox browser.

Hence, the name, Really Simple SYNDICATION! :-)

Of course, like you said, you have to give credit where credit is due for the feed...

Another point is if they DIDN'T allow you to post the feed on your site, this would hinder traffic to their website. Umm...I don't think they want to restrict that. :-)

Hope this helps.
