Our corporation runs a standard of Win95b OS with RUMBA 2000 installed to connect to the AS/400. Lately we have had a rash of users complaining that they cannot do anything while running an AS/400 session, because they don’t have enough memory. I have observed this incident and found it to be non-machine specific. Our machines are a minimum of 128mb RAM with a minimum of a P2-266 processor.
When the user receives the message that they are out of memory, they get a very-classic Win95 whitebox that says “Out Of Memory!” and to free up some resources. This can occur even after a fresh boot, with maybe one other program open in addition to RUMBA.
PLEASE HELP!
