Run-time Error 11

By scott @ insightbb ·
While playing MS Golf 99, will be playing game and suddenly game will stop with the "Run-time Erro 11", click OK and game exits. Running Win98 second version, 64mb ram, typical install of MS Golf 99. In other games, progams, receive error "Direct3D is not installed" but games and programs function fine and DirectX test Direct3D functions fine. Only the MS Golf 99 game locks up with error given above.

I would suggest looking in the game option for graphics and making sure that you have direct draw ON and 3D effects OFF as they are not needed for that game....

Go back and run DXDIAG.EXE again. Look under the Input tab. Check to make sure it's not missing any input device files. If see anything like that, download and install DirectX 7.0a. It wouldn't be bad idea to do that anyway.
This can be done from the Windows Update page.
