I have a Mother Board Model M585LMR made by PC Chips. 15 days ago, appeard a message when I started up my PC that said:
“Not Operating System Present”
I thouhgt that maybe it was a virus, ’cause happened several times. So I formatted my H.D.but when I tryed to re-install the OS, (WinMe, Win 98, Win 98 S.E., and Win 95 all of them) after Scandisk runs it reports that there’s a a problem with the amount of space and appears the next message:
run-time error R6001
– null pointer assigment.
I already checked my H.D. but I’m realy sure that is working fine and I even changed for another similar with same results. A friend told me that maybe the problem was the static. So I unpluged all cables, cleared the CMOS, removed the battery for a week. But I still have the same results.
Pls, help me. I don?t know what else I can do.
