Run VFP under a non-user account

by razz2 . Updated 19 years, 10 months ago

I have a client that uses VFP 6.0 and they are running the EXE from the server. It runs with the ACL of the user at the workststion. That require that certain directories on the server have read access for the end users. Is there a way to have the VFP app run as a service type account so that VFP internally could get the needed info but not need the users to have any access to the data directly.
