Rundll error, updating Nvidia driver

After updating my Nvidia driver off of M.S. Windows Update site I’m getting a “Rundll c:\Winnt\System32\NVMCTRAY.dll error, specifield module could not be found”.

I tried going in to safe mode and uninstalling the driver. When I boot back into Windows 2000 with the just the vga driver I’m still getting the same Rundll error. Also after installing the original vidia driver. This all started when the user found an update at M.S. driver update on Windows Update site. I have also tried PC Doctor s.w. from http://www.pcdocrx.net which TechRepublic has recommended but no help. Any suggestions would be appricated ?
