rundll32 error

ok… I’ve tried everthing and am throwing my hands up with this one. A Windows 98 machine is displaying an “illegal operation” message with “Rundll32” in the title bar of the message. I’ve tried ‘scanreg /restore’; ‘scanreg /fix’; I’ve even tried arepair install of the OS…only to see that same error. Any suggestions??? Thanks
